Update: 05/11/2020

Dear Customer

As an essential business, it is our intention to remain open during this second lockdown. In order to do so it is vital that everybody follows the Covid guidelines put in place by the government. Please wear a face covering, sanitise hands and keep 2 metres distance when visiting our store.

The government’s guidance on the new restrictions published on Saturday, October 31 said: “Food shops, supermarkets, garden centres and certain other retailers providing essential goods and services can remain open.”

Thank you all for your co-operation, stay safe.

Update: 24-07-20

Dear Customer,

It has been brought to our attention that from tomorrow all entering indoors at our depot must wear face coverings in line with current Government policy. A face covering must be some sort of material that covers the mouth and nose and could be a mask, scarf or visor.

As of Friday 24/07/2020, anyone not wearing an appropriate face covering will be denied entry to all site buildings. A face covering cannot be considered a substitute for social distancing therefore all social distancing measures on site will remain in force, please use the hand sanitiser provided on entry.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their understanding and adherence to the additional safety measures we have undertaken on site since we reopened; by doing so we have been able to keep all staff and customers safe and well.

Can I be fined for not wearing one?

Yes. Shops and supermarkets can refuse you entry if you are not wearing a face covering and police have the powers to enforce the measures. You could be fined up to £100 for refusing to wear one.

But, in reality police are unlikely be called out over someone failing to wear a face covering, but we are relying on the public to play their part.

Are there exceptions?

Yes there are. In England, children under the age of 11 do not have to wear a mask.

People with a physical or mental illness or impairment, or disability that prohibits you from wearing a face covering, or wearing a face covering causes severe distress, will also be exempt from fines.

Thank you for playing your part, Keep safe

Coronavirus is likely to remain with us for several months, meaning that we need to learn how to live with it and find safe ways to operate before the risk has been completely eliminated, Our absolute priority remains the health, safety of our colleagues, customers and communities.

We are open for business

We will be strictly adhering to the following:

We are limiting the number of people on site at any given time

– Please adhere to the 2 metre social distancing rules at all times

– Our drivers are instructed to carry out kerb side deliveries only

– If our drivers feel that delivery cannot be made safely they will inform the customer and goods will be returned back to depot

Please be aware we are experiencing very high call volumes at present, if you fail to get through this is because our staff are busy dealing with other customers, I understand this is extremely frustrating but in these unprecedented times please keep trying.

Thank you for your fantastic support, patience and understanding in these difficult times.

Stay safe
