About our Tree Barn

A visit to Massams Christmas Tree Barn has become a family tradition for many households in Halsall and the surrounding area; Its the start of the magic of Christmas. It’s a great place to start your Christmas Shopping with our Christmas Markets, where we have a fantastic range of stalls including artisan gifts, food & local produce.

We have 100’s of trees all indoors ranging from 3ft to 15ft. Each tree is displayed on a wooden log base out of its net so you choose your perfect tree. Once chosen, a member of our team will wrap it for you take it to your vehicle or we will deliver to your door!

As well as Christmas trees, We have a Christmas shop where you can pick up tree stands, baubles, lights, Christmas decorations, wreaths and crem pots.

When can we buy a Christmas Tree?

The Christmas Tree Barn opens on the 25th November 2023 and we sell them right through the Christmas period

Do you have Christmas Markets?

We have a fantastic range of stalls incuding Artisan Gifts, Local Produce & Yummy food on for 3 weekends.

Seating area is available for you to enjoy your food & drink with childrens activitys on each table to keep the little ones entertained

What are your opening hours?

Opening hours from 25th Nov to 22nd Dec: 7 days a week

Monday to Saturday – 9am to 5pm

Sunday – 9am to 4pm

Can I buy my tree online?

Trees will be available to pre-order on our website from the 1st October – 30th November only. No pre-orders will be taken outside of this timeframe.

All pre-ordered trees must be delivered the first week in December. Unfortunately due to high demand, we will be unable to allocate specific time slots.

If this timeframe isn’t convenient for you, we recommend you come down to our tree barn from the 25th November and pick a tree in person.

Which tree is best for needle retention?

The Nordman Fir or Fraser Fir are your best choice

Can you deliver my tree?

Yes we can. Delivery charges are based on your specific postcode

We deliver to: L10, L21, L22, L23, L29, L30, L31, L32, L33, L37, L38, L39, L40, PR8, PR9, WA10, WA11, WN8

Can I cut down my own tree?

No as we sell so many trees this is just not possible. We do however have lots of trees for you to view and choose from, to get the perfect tree just for you

Will you run out of trees?

We highly doubt it as we sell over 20,000 wholesale, and 2500 retail but the earlier you come the better selection we have to choose from. We always have a good range of sizes available

Are you indoors or outdoors?

We are fully indoors from the minute you walk through the entrance door. However, please note that our Christmas tree barn is not heated, so we recommend dressing warmly to stay comfortable during your visit

Is there Car Parking?

Yes we have a large free car park at the front of our building, weekends are always a lot more hectic than weekdays

We accept all debit and credit cards or Cash

How long will my tree last?

Provided care is taken in looking after the tree, it the tree should last for over the festive season. You will find details on how to care for your tree here

Can you come and take my tree away after Christmas?

Unfortunately this is not a service we offer

Do You Allow Dogs?

Yes, we do welcome dogs, but before bringing them into our Christmas tree barn, we kindly request that you ensure your furry friend has taken care of their toilet needs and that they are kept on a lead. We’ve had a few too many accidents, and responsible owners like you can help make the experience enjoyable for everyone
